oh baltimore, jewel of the chesapeake, you never fail to charm and enchant the visitors who happen upon your cobblestone streets and bustling waterfronts. you rolled out your magical welcome to a group of enthusiastic crafters one sunny saturday afternoon. we set up our wares under blue skies dotted with fluffy white clouds...the smell of a nearby bakery was in the air...
there were high hopes, almost as high as the 50 mph winds that came ripping through our fragile tent city, smashing glass and ceramic, sending all things made of paper flying, and picking up weighted-down canopies like so many kites. most of us managed to make it though despite mother nature's best efforts to blow us away. special thanks to those who braved the gales to pay us a visit, shoppers and supporters alike.
you might have bested us that day, baltimore, but we'll be back! (if only for the old bay fries)

please note: man passed out on park bench was not a display item,
but a casualty from the night before who needed a nap. a really long nap...

So cute! I fell for Baltimore recently myself... it's definitely earned the name Charm City. :)
That was a bad day - glad you survived it all!
